Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. You supply six pieces of information—gender, birth date, general health, tobacco use, desired coverage amount and term—which is all the system needs to return rates. Personal identifiers, home address and medical records are only requested if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are estimates: the rates each carrier provides for the health rating you entered. After you apply, the carrier's underwriting team may confirm, improve or adjust your health rating, which could change the premium. These quotes are for informational purposes and are not binding estimates or guarantees.
What happens when I click Apply?
After clicking apply, you'll enter your name, at which point your chosen quote becomes the foundation of an application. The form opens on the insurance carriers' protected platform and continues there. You're free to exit and re-enter to finish later, and signatures are completed digitally. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129) receives and processes your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
This hinges on the carrier, the death benefit amount you're requesting, and your personal data. Carriers advertising rapid decisions can approve eligible applicants without exams; each quote tells you whether the carrier requires an exam, might request one, or probably won't need one.
Is a longer term better?
The right duration covers the period when your family would struggle financially without your paycheck—typically when there's a home loan, dependent minors, or business debt. Longer terms mean bigger monthly bills but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you see and compare monthly costs for 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year spans.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote system never collects your contact data in the first place. We don't monetize visitor information, and we don't use tracking cookies. See the privacy section for a complete rundown of what data we keep and which organizations might receive it.
