How to read the results

Monthly cost shows the carrier's quoted payment for your chosen amount, duration and health rating when paid on a monthly schedule. Underwriting rating labels the classification category the price assumes; the carrier determines the actual category after their review. Medical exam indicates if the carrier typically expects a paramedical evaluation; those using rapid evaluation programs may waive it for eligible applicants. A.M. Best financial rating reflects the carrier's fiscal stability.
